Which AI engines does TofuBofu check, and why do they disagree?

Every plan, including the free one, queries all five engines: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Mode. Engines are never plan-gated; only the number of queries asked, whether sentiment is scored, and how many times each query is sampled change by plan.

Why the same query gets different answers

Every engine TofuBofu queries searches the live web before it answers, but each one runs its own search and weighs what it finds differently. Gemini and Google AI Mode read Google's own index; ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity run their own web searches. Different sources, different answers, and disagreement between engines is a real finding about where you are and are not visible, not measurement noise to average away.

If one engine looks stuck at zero

A single engine at zero across every query, while the others vary, is worth a second look before treating it as a finding about your visibility: check the report for that engine's rows marked unmeasured rather than answered, and see "Why did my scan find nothing" above.
